The client has a wide base in the UK, the Middle East, and South Asia. They wanted a digital platform that could assist them in effortlessly assigning tasks to their employees for seamless task management. A manpower consulting business requires the completion of multiple operations simultaneously. Our client wanted task management software that would assist in completing projects as per priority.

We added a number of unique features to the software, like task assignment, progress tracking, calendar syncing, file attachment, priority setting, etc. Our client wanted a task management system to increase the productivity of their team by automating most of their processes, leading to a time-efficient solution. Our aim was to make the work easier for project and task managers by ensuring seamless task management with monitoring and analytics features.

Challenge

A manpower consulting company operates on large databases of workers and potential candidates, and maintaining this database requires immense efforts. Our task management software had to be highly functional so our client's employees could easily filter out candidates based on the job title and profile. Another major challenge was maintaining compliance with various regulatory bodies for data security, industry-specific compliance, etc.

With access to high-end technologies, our team was able to create responsive task management software that eased the entire workflow of our client. We developed a centralised platform to set task dependencies, send email reminders, and track project progress.

Solution

Designing software for an enterprise that operates on a large scale is a challenging task. We first created a well-researched prototype to ensure the final software was up to the mark. The process involved conducting thorough research and a strong analysis of the competitor’s work. We emphasised making the software highly appropriate for collaboration, as it would act as a primary and common unit for all teams to simultaneously operate. This included heavy coding and utilising a high markup code.

Our UI/UX design team created a user-friendly and interactive design that was approved by our client on the first go. Our client demanded that the software have automated features to reduce the workload of their employees, and we achieved this using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Key Features

• Task Creation: This feature is the heart of any task management system. We added a task creation option so managers could easily assign tasks and also schedule them in the future.
• Task Reminders: With so many work tasks, employees can easily get confused and miss their priority tasks. A task reminder feature reminds them of their upcoming duties.
• Task Prioritisation: The feature ensures employees are able to prioritise their tasks based on urgency, saving time and increasing productivity.
